Heat oil in a large skillet until hot but not smoking, about 365°F. Add chicken and fry until cooked through, about 15 minutes. Remove and drain well on paper towels. Place melted butter in a shallow dish. Dip chicken wings into butter, then coat wings with crumb mixture. Place on a serving platter and serve immediately.
